Cheese, a star product in Galician gastronomy
Is not a secret of Galicia it’s a land of quality products. Traveling from the sea to the mountain we realize the greate resources that it has and its traditional methods of manufacturing that are carefully kept.
The Galicia chees doesn’t hold back, and adding to its variety they also have great quality. They are created from the milk from the best lands, with cattle that live calmly and that are put through various quality controls, booth of these being excellent qualities to have great cheeses , to be properly reckoned as one of the star products of the gallega gastronomy.
Here we can find cheeses suitable for al tastes : gallego cheese, matured, del país, de barra, de tetilla or the famous requeixo , that leaves a mark on the world of the dairy products.
Its so important in ower community, that it counts with numerous celebrations, like the cheese fest in Arzúa or the cheese fair of San Simón en Villalba; or accompanied by other products like for example in the fair of the cheese and honey in As Pontes de García Rodríguez.
