One of the flagships of A Mariña Lucense and Galicia in general are the ceramics from Sargadelos which is located in the parish of the same name in the municipality of Cervo. If you want to learn about the history of one of the most important handicrafts of Galicia you can get close to their place of origin, considered historical and artistic set.
Here you can find remains of the old factories of smelting and pottery founded by Raimundo Ibáñez, Marquis of Sargadelos there by the 19th century. The Cervo Gallery, opened in the seventies of the last century hosts, as well as parts and current books, ancient porcelain subsequently dated the opening of factories as well as a sample of Spanish and foreign popular ceramics.
The modern factory was integrated into the natural environment through its architecture demonstrating this unique ensemble combining the old, the new and the Museum. He was opened at the same time that the Gallery since the old factory had closed nearly a century earlier.
